Betty Who puts on a mesmerizing show in Boston

Date:

Betty Who made her return to Boston at The Royale and lit up the stage with undeniable charisma and pop brilliance, proving once again why she’s a force to be reckoned with. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, it was clear the Australian-American singer wasn’t just performing, she was commanding a celebration. She released two new singles “Sweat”, and “Run!” just this year and we are hoping for many more to come as these two are already brilliant.

Her set opened with “Run!” and the fans cheered loudly and she and her two wonderful backup dancers graced the stage with high energy right off the bat. What truly set the night apart, though, was the range of her setlist. Songs like “I Remember” and “Reunion” were delivered with heartfelt sincerity, showing off her vocal chops and lyrical vulnerability. In between numbers, Betty connected deeply with the crowd, sharing personal stories about queer love, mental health, and growing into her identity — all of which resonated powerfully with her largely LGBTQ+ fanbase. She even took time to read out a couple of fan submitted stories which was heartwarming.

After a sweet moment with the crowd, the energy picked back up with her performing new single “Sweat” which practically made everyone in the room sweat with how hot that number is. The production of the show was sleek yet vibrant, with a mix of neon lights, pulsing beats, and carefully curated visuals that matched the boldness of her music. And as always, her fashion was on point along with her dancers.

If this concert was any indication, Betty Who isn’t just a pop singer — she’s a pop visionary. She doesn’t just perform; she creates a world where joy, honesty, and self-expression shine bright. If you haven’t seen Betty Who on tour yet you are truly missing out, so be sure to catch her on tour.
