California’s indie rock-trio, Wallows, consisting of Braeden Lemasters, Dylan Minnette, and Cole Preston, just released their new single along with a music video, “Are You Bored Yet? (feat. Clairo)” off of their upcoming first album, Nothing Happens. It will be released March 22nd under Atlantic Records, and after listening to this dreamy melodic tune, fans will be left eager to hear more.

Wallows took the world by storm when they released their debut EP, Spring, this past April. Playing and selling out a plethora of shows throughout the U.S. and U.K., including performing at major festivals such as SXSW, ACL, Lollapalooza, and more, Wallows were a crowd favorite from the start. After releasing a variety of singles, (“Underneath the Streetlights in the Winter Outside Your House,” “1980s Horror Film II,” and “Drunk on Halloween”) fans were still left hungry for new music. Considering their previous latest release, “Drunk on Halloween,” which premiered a few weeks before Halloween, the band sure does have a great track record when it comes to releasing new music.

The song itself, “Are You Bored Yet?” has a very soft, upbeat sound driven by light synth and piano that will leave you feeling nostalgic. It has a very airy feel, and just makes you want to roll the windows down and drive along to the song. Singer Dylan Minnette’s vocals compliment Clairo’s very well, and his vocals have gotten even better compared to Wallows’ previous tracks.

Be sure to keep up with the band on their social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook), as their new album debuts soon and we’re sure a tour will be announced sometime in the near future. Listen to “Are You Bored Yet? (feat. Clairo),” which is available on all major streaming platforms and for purchase, here.
