
To kick off the deluxe era of her latest album, Everybody Needs a Hero, multi-hyphenate independent artist Orla Garland has announced the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, Everybody Needs a Hero (Extended Edition).
The 30-year-old Irish singer-songwriter has also shared her newest single and visualizer, “Now What?,” due out today, and explores themes of self-discovery and finding yourself after a relationship ends. She ultimately becomes completely free, from Everybody Needs A Hero.
Garland spoke about “Now What?” and the upcoming extended edition:
“My second album ‘Everybody Needs A Hero’ came out in October 2024 and I started this year with a strong feeling that I had more to say. Last year I experienced some big life changes; I felt more unravelled & pensive than any other time in my adult life. ‘Now What?’ explores the vast unknown we face after a breakup and how our feelings morph and change over time.”
Additionally, Gartland will embark on the North American leg of her 2025 Hero Tour on April 22 in Toronto, followed by future stops in New York City, Austin, Los Angeles and more. This summer, she will also perform on the Lollapalooza stage. For ticket information, go to Garland’s website.
The original album, released in 2024, included several hit singles, including “Little Chaos,” “The Hit” and “Late to the Party (feat. Decland McKenna),” embodying the singer’s newfound independence, along with her raw musicality, brash charm and unique artwork aesthetics, Garland’s has amassed a dedicated fanbase and she continues to lays all her feelings to rest on Everybody Needes A Hero (Extended Edition).
