Have you ever researched your new favorite band only to find that the band is not very new at all? Some craft music for years before a song or a performance makes an impact, and usually when they least expect it. Before that happens, though, it takes a lot of timing, dedication, and work to get to that point. Take Glass House Point, for instance. This genre-bending band formed back in 2013 and have given their all to form thoughtful music and perform dynamic stage shows over the years. They are now a force in Florida’s rising music scene, setting themselves apart from other “indie bands” by their colorful and refreshing use of textures and layers throughout their songs. For those who are interested in exactly how this sounds, they can turn to “Circling.”

The first single from Glass House Point this year, “Circling” takes superior elements of alt-rock and indie music and blends them together for one memorable track. Between the driving rhythms, resonant vocals, and lush soundscapes, there is much to behold. Whether fans want to get lost in the bass and guitar riffs or indulge in the urgent lyrics, they will find a way to connect with what Glass House Point is offering – and want to circle back for more. You can check it out below.

On social media, Glass House Point shared,

“Finally, ‘Circling’ is OUT NOW… This song has had a very weird existence for us…just sitting in our back pocket since 2022. For a long time, we didn’t know how to release it…then Dylan [vocals, guitar] blew out his voice belting it on tour… The song’s theme almost felt like it was reflective of where we were at as a band (which was not a good thing, lol).

“Since last year, we’ve completely changed our creative process and have produced more music than we have in all of our 10 years of being a band… This is the year we can get to share what we are capable of, and we hope you can find some meaning and value in what we’re creating.”

You can listen to “Circling” on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
