It’s a great time to be a BLINK — JISOO is finally releasing her first solo album! Following her massive success with K-pop mega-girl group BLACKPINK, JISOO’s long-awaited full-length debut, AMORTAGE, is set to release on Feb. 14. The mini-album’s unique title is meant to blend the concept of a “montage of love.” JISOO set the stage for the formal announcement of AMORTAGE with a cryptic teaser video of a lie detector test, followed by the project’s release date, which she shared to Instagram earlier this month.

The Korean popstar established her own label, BLISOO, in early 2024 following BLACKPINK’s decision to forego individual contracts with YG Entertainment. AMORTAGE will mark JISOO’s first release on her own label, and she’s already proving to be a master at building excitement over the release. The full AMORTAGE rollout was posted on Instagram on Jan. 31, detailing dates for multiple album art reveals, pre-ordering, music video teasers and more.

The upcoming AMORTAGE schedule is listed here:
1/31 – Album Title Poster
2/1 – Album Cover #1
2/2 – Album Cover #2
2/3 – Preorder
2/4 – Title Poster / Track List
2/5 – Concept Poster #1
2/6 – Concept Poster #2
2/7 – Concept Poster #3
2/10 – Track Spoiler
2/12 – MV Tease
2/13 – MV Poster
2/14 – Release/Special Event

The announcement of AMORTAGE is JISOO’s contribution to the list of recent and upcoming solo releases from group members of BLACKPINK. ROSÉ released her highly successful solo album rosie in December 2024, while JENNIE is slated to release her solo debut Ruby on March 7 and LISA is set to release her full-length debut Alter Ego on Feb. 28. AMORTAGE is JISOO’s follow up to her debut singles “[ME]” and “꽃(FLOWER),” released in 2023.
