Kali Uchis has officially begun teasing her upcoming fifth studio album, Sincerely.
Uchis shared the forthcoming project with a short Instagram teaser. In the clip, the singer-songwriter sat at a candite desk and sealed a letter that told fans the title of the album, “the fifth studio album written and recorded by Kali Uchis.” Before unveiling a new outfit and a full behind, she places a monogrammed wax seal on the letter.
“I dream of a home that even time will lie down and be still for. A place where everything works out the way it should,” Uchis said in the brief clip. “Sincerely.”
It is set to be released sometime this year through Capitol Records, and marks her most “existential,” “honest” and “beautiful” body of work to date but to her personally, she told 10 Magazine.
