Charlotte Chipembere Falls Out Of Love In New Single “Tunnel Vision”

Date:

Singer-songwriter Charlotte Chipembere is known for her R&B sound. Her dreamy, angelic sound allows her to craft beautiful stories in her music. Her latest release, “Tunnel Vision”, is a smooth ballad shedding light on the dark side of a relationship.

“Tunnel Vision” is a warning about being totally immersed in love. Through lush harmonies and soulful piano, Charlotte Chipembere realizes that this obsession with love has blinded her to the poor treatment she receives from her partner. Lyrics such as, “I see you through a telescope / You say you hate me / But I don’t go / You feel like home”, show how her partner mistreats her, yet something resists her urge to leave.

Sharing more about “Tunnel Vision”, Charlotte Chipembere comments:

“If I’m being 100% honest, I wrote this in a moment of weakness when I realized I let a man walk all over me just because I found him insanely attractive. My self respect was nowhere to be found during the duration of the situationship and I justified that by pretending he was someone he wasn’t.”
