Baby Said brings the rock energy in new single “Dead To Me”

Date:

The contagious rockstar sister duo Baby Said—a project of Portsmouth-based Veronica and Jess Pal—is back with another electrifying single from their highly anticipated EP, BS, set for release next month. Titled “Dead To Me,” Baby Said further establishes their presence in the rock scene, with each song from BS showcasing their talent, authenticity and dedication to their craft.

“Dead To Me,” the fifth single off of BS, maintains the high-energy intensity established by the previous singles, featuring heavy, electrifying guitar riffs and explosive drum beats that powerfully complement the vocals. This track even includes a guitar solo interlude that speaks for itself, giving the song the true rock feel.

One thing about Baby Said—they don’t sugarcoat. They refuse to comply with lame excuses or undesirable behavior. With a chorus that builds up to the simple, yet bold statement, “you’re dead to me,” Baby Said makes it clear they won’t tolerate those who push boundaries, cross the line or criticize their business. According to Baby Said, the song reflects the impulsivity of cutting people out of your life, without a second thought, the second they overstep. And what better way to deliver that message than through an anger-fueled, narrative-driven rock song?
