Orville Peck Dazzles The Budweiser Stage in Toronto

Orville Peck, the 36-year-old country musician, has been making waves for many years. Returning to the Toronto stage after what felt like a lifetime, Peck ensured his fans had an unforgettable experience. Performing songs from “Pony,” “Bronco,” and his latest albumStampede: Vol 1, Orville Peck delivered a set that showcased a little of everything from his discography, and all from his heart.

From the haunting “Big Sky” to the tear-jerking “Roses are Falling,” Peck’s music moved the entire room. His passion and incredibly talented voice shone even more brightly in a live setting. Orville Peck’s performance was an emotional rollercoaster, featuring songs that could make you cry your heart out and others that would get you out of your seat to dance. A standout moment was the gut-wrenching “How Far Will We Take It?” performed alongside Emily Rose. Another highlight was his cover of “Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other,” a satirical commentary on cowboys’ masculinity and sexuality.

Orville Peck is a sight to behold, inspiring generations of country music fans. Seeing a crowd of various ages sporting tasselled and bedazzled country outfits was a delight, creating a safe space for everyone to be themselves and enjoy the music they love. Orville Peck stays true to himself and never disappoints in a live show.
