Anyma has just released his new track, “Neverland (From Japan),” a collaboration with Egyptian techno producer Baset, via Interscope Records. The song was put out in anticipation of Anyma’s third album, The End of Genesys, set to be released on May 23.
He debuted the track during his recent 12-date residency at the Sphere, where he immersed fans in the hypnotic bass line of the single. Every drop within the song takes listeners on a journey of entrancement. While the vocals coincide with the various synths used throughout the track, the song also features a pulsing texture that was made for enormous spaces.
“Neverland (From Japan)” has been released alongside the same mesmerizing visual that Anyma used at the Sphere and will be included on The End of Genesys album. The third and final album of the Genesys trilogy will feature recent singles such as “Angel In The Dark,” “Hypnotized” featuring Ellie Goulding, which hit #1 at US Dance Radio and Billboard Dance/Mix Show, and “Voices In My Head” with Argy and Son of Son.
In addition to these, the album will include more new music that Anyma premiered live throughout his Sphere residency. Rumored collaborations on the album include Grimes, FKA Twigs, 070 Shake, Yeat, Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun, and more. Anyma uses techno to tell stories, and after this single, we’re excited to see where the story goes with the final chapter of Genesys.
