Summer is closer than we think in Jay Putty’s latest single “Dream Big,” which features a vibrant chorus and musicality.
“Dream Big” is Putty’s folk-pop anthem that sounds like a Disney Channel summer hit. The inspiration behind the song stems from a famous Walt Disney quote, “if you can dream it, you can do it.” Putty shared that this quote is prominently displayed on a placard at his studio desk, serving as a constant reminder as he wrote the lyrics for this new single.
This sentiment is evident throughout the production of the track. Unlike his previously released singles, Putty took charge of “Dream Big’s” production because of the song’s personal significance, allowing the dream to be as big, bright and exciting as he desired.
Written during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Putty’s “Dream Big” shows us how to be bold in our choices. He says that our limitations are only as real as we believe them to be.
