Sundozer - "Still Life"

In the summer of 2023, Austin TX, experienced one of hottest days on record, with temperatures spiking to over 100 degrees for 80 consecutive days. During this time, Sundozer — also known as a multi-instrumentalist and producer Christian Luis French — recorded their upcoming EP Death Bloom. In their home studio, with drums from Steve Trudell and mixed by Elliott Frazier of Ringo Deathstarr, Death Bloom became a labor of love from the artist.

Sundozer also released two singles last year titled “Charmed” and “100 Lives,” which capture what it feels like to roll your windows down on a warm July evening and charm your way out of something.

Now, in anticipation of their upcoming project, French has released their single, “Still Life.” Sundozer, known for their discovery of dream pop, is further delving deeper into the realms of indie rock, embracing catchy melodies that showcase their new musical exploration. Sundozer’s artistic journey is ever-changing as they transcend genres and make indie-rock exciting for a new generation. Infused with some 1960s rock influences, their latest record “Still Life” highlights their new mix of genres and uniquely charged experience.
