Lauv brings The Between Albums Tour to London

Date:

Lauv brought his The Between Albums Tour to London’s Eventim Apollo on Thursday night. The atmosphere in the venue was euphoric, as the crowd eagerly waited to see the talented 29-year-old American singer-songwriter take to the stage. Lauv, whose real name is Ari Staprans Leff, took to the stage solo in a show-stopping, silver sparkly helmet. The fans went crazy as Ari removed the helmet and kicked off with fan favourite “Love U Like That”. Following on from this he went on to perform “Paris in the Rain”, which he called ‘London In The Rain’ for one night only.

The setlist for the night included a bunch of songs from Ari’s 2022 album All 4 Nothing, including a special acoustic performance of his heartbreaking track “Hey Ari” and a more uplifting performance of “Molly In Mexico”. He also performed a huge selection of tracks from his 2020 album ~how i’m feeling~ including “Drugs & The Internet”, Anne-Marie collaboration “fuck, i’m lonely” and “Modern Lonliness”. Whilst performing a beautiful acoustic rendition of his song “Steal The Show” from the soundtrack of the movie Elemental, two special fans celebrated a life changing proposal, which Lauv’s photographer Yik Keat managed to catch on camera.

Towards the end of his set, Ari performed his much loved single “i’m so tired…”, and even invited a lucky fan to join him on the stage to sing Troye Sivan’s verses within the song. To close the special night the talented musician performed his biggest song to date, “I Like Me Better”, which had the sold out audience dancing and singing the lyrics back to the singer.

Prior to Lauv’s set, the audience was treated to an incredible set from Canadian singer-songwriter renforshort, who very much warmed up the crowd ahead of Lauv’s set
