Local Natives bring the Inside An Hourglass Tour to NYC

Date:

This past Friday, Los Angeles-based indie rockers Local Natives brought their Inside An Hourglass Tour to NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17. This was their first tour in nearly three years, and the band and fans alike were ecstatic to be there.

Jordana opened up the night, showcasing her bedroom-pop style of music to the excited audience. She played songs from her numerous albums and EPs and won over many new fans by the end of her set.

Local Natives started off their nearly sold-out show with “Statues in the Garden” from their 2020 EP Sour Lemon, before performing the rest of their nearly 20-song set. They played a truly incredible concert, with highlights such as Jordana joining the band for “Lemon” and an overall positive, excited atmosphere. Before their last song, “When Am I Gonna Lose You”, frontman Taylor Rice dedicated the song to New York and told the story of playing here many years ago at Piano’s, a small venue in the Lower East Side. The band expressed how grateful they were to be playing at this venue and thanked the fans for spending their Friday night with them.

Be sure to catch the rest of the Inside An Hourglass Tour in a city near you!
