Hunter Nelson and TCOYS reflect on love in new song “alonewithyou”

Date:

After debuting on Australia’s Triple J Unearthed radio station, Hunter Nelson is making big waves in the Australian indie pop scene. Known for his smooth vocals and raw instrumentation, Hunter Nelson creates meaningful music that propels him forward in his career. On his latest single, he has teamed up with lo-fi artist TCOYS to create “alonewithyou” which focuses on longing for love.

“alonewithyou” is a reflection on time spent with someone you love. Through wispy harmonies and vulnerable acoustic guitar, Hunter Nelson and TCOYS wish to stay forever with someone they love although their lives and relationship have changed over time. Lyrics such as “I wish I was alone with you / and we can just pretend / that this night won’t ever end” show how they wish to always be together with their partners, but their lives will change soon.
