Didirri came to Toronto’s Drake Underground for an amazing show last Monday.

Didirri describes his work as “music for lovers and overthinkers”, and I completely agree; his songs hold strong emotional intensity and somehow root up thoughts you didn’t know you were hiding. The show that Didirri put on was simple – just him and his guitar – but it managed to tap into a deep emotional nerve that moved myself and many others in the crowd. Didirri’s extremely thoughtful and clever lyrics combined with his incredible voice and captivating story-telling abilities make him one of my favorite up-and-coming artists, and I can’t wait to see where he goes. If you have the chance to see him, I highly recommend you take it.  At the very least, check out his stuff on Spotify.
