dramaclub releases debut single “breaking like a heart”

Date:

Genre-blending Florida quartet dramaclub dropped their debut single, “breaking like a heart,” Dec. 6. Creating an intersection between music, art and culture within their projects, dramaclub is set to become a creative force within the music industry.

“breaking like a heart” features an upbeat rhythm with lush synths as frontman Josiah expresses his exhaustion from being misunderstood. Josiah is supported by Matthew on drums and Christian and AJ as multi-instrumentalists, rounding out the quartet. The track’s energy creates a similar sound to Dominic Fike, and is sure to be enjoyed by fans of Wallows, The Neighbourhood and The Marías.

According to the band, their forthcoming debut album, for every room, is set to release after dropping more music and making some live appearances. In just 12 days, “breaking like a heart” gained nearly 8,000 Spotify streams — and this is just the beginning.

For anyone who is already hooked, the band says:

“Watch out for a pop-up in your town soon.”
