UPSAHL dazzles Brooklyn with Lady Jesus

Date:

This past Wednesday night, Brooklyn’s own Baby’s All Right was treated to a fabulous performance by up-and-coming artist UPSAHL. Taylor Upsahl released her debut studio album Lady Jesus this past October and has been taking the world by storm ever since.

Phoenix, Arizona native Kailee Morgue opened up the show, showcasing her incredible voice and musical talent. The young artist began her career back in 2015, posting covers on YouTube and has been performing at concerts and festivals ever since. Morgue’s music is a fun mix of pop and indie, and she is definitely one to watch in 2022.

UPSAHL then graced the stage to strobing lights and screaming fans. She has built up a large following with her talent as both a musician and performer and made the small venue feel large with her presence. She kicked off her set with “MoneyOnMyMind”, a grungy song with slick production from a collaboration with Absofacto, before playing the rest of her 14 song set. I have to say – UPSAHL is one hell of an artist. She moved across the stage with ease, keeping the crowd thoroughly entertained with tons of interaction. She effortlessly went from song to song, playing bass and rhythm guitar with her bandmates and lighting up the stage with her infectious personality. She closed out her set with “Drugs”, a song that brought her viral success on TikTok, before thanking Brooklyn once more and promising to be back soon.
