One of the biggest tragedies of the pandemic was the fact that outside of a couple of (well-deserved) Grammy nominations, HAIM didn’t get a chance to tour their incredible third album Women In Music Pt. III. The album launched them to a public status that they hadn’t reached before, and fans everywhere have been dying to hear this album live.
Well, good news — today, they’ve mapped out a run of 2022 dates that will bring WIMPIII to crowds. The tour starts in April in Las Vegas and runs for two months playing the biggest venues they’ve ever played, like Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater and NYC’s Madison Square Garden. The sisters have a murderer’s row of support lined up for the tour, with Waxahatchee, Faye Webster, SASAMI, Princess Nokia, and Buzzy Lee all lined up to take turns opening up the show. Tickets for the run go on sale this Friday, and now that Alana Haim is a full-on movie star (in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza coming out this month), you might want to go see HAIM now before they get busy with other things.
