
Indie-pop duo The Format have announced their first headlining North American tour in almost 20 years, set for spring 2026.
The 14-stop tour will start in Boston on Mar. 26th of next year before heading to the Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia. The duo will then perform their only Canada show in Toronto on the 30th of March at the History theatre. Back in the US, The Format will travel through Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin and Denver. In Utah, they’ll perform at The Union theatre in Salt Lake City with the final three shows being held in Seattle, San Francisco and San Diego.

Opening for The Format will be Adult Mom, Piebald, Phantom Planet, Ben Kweller and Limbeck. Adult Mom will support for the first nine shows with Phantom Planet and Limbeck opening for the rest. Piebald will only open for the Boston show and Ben Kweller will open from Philadelphia to Dallas.
The tour is in support of the group’s upcoming album Boycott Heaven, releasing on the 23rd of January, 2026.
