Rema surprises fans with second album ‘HEIS’ out later this week

Following a two-year hiatus, Rema surprised fans when he announced that his second project, HEIS, will be released later this week on Thursday, July 11, just three days before its apparent debut.

The Nigerian rapper recently collaborated with Shalipoppi on “Benin Boys,” which will be featured on “HEIS,” along with “HEHEHE.” This latest single reaffirms Rema’s status as a Nigerian global superstar within the Nigerian music Big 3. Rema also teased a collaboration with Odumodublvck is expected to appear on the album.

Rema’s latest album is expected to continue the musical and artistic explorations of his 2023 EP, Ravage, and build on the success of his global hit single “Calm Down” with pop icon Selena Gomez.
