Listen up, all Lizzy McAlpine fans! You won’t have to keep “ceilings” on loop anymore this summer.
On July 20 via Instagram, the indie pop star announced her upcoming album, Angel, to be released on September 18. McAlpine also included a sneak peek of the first track, titled “The light in the painting,” which will be available on Thursday, July 23 at 7 a.m. PST.
In the post, McAlpine expressed her gratitude to her fans for sticking around to wait for new music, writing,
“This record means so much to me fuck I love it so much, it helped me process and heal and grieve and love and so soon it will be yours to maybe help you do the same thing thank you for sticking around I’m so excited I’m gonna go jump around and cry maybe I love you bye.”
