After playing her way through eleven other cities, Faye Webster took to The Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville to bring her North American summer tour to an end on August 22nd, 2022.
Maya Hawke opened up the night, warming up the crowd for when her headliner and friend took the stage. Maya played her way through several songs like the newly released singles Thérèse and Sweet Tooth. Not only was the crowd able to hear the coming tracks for Maya’s pending record, Hawke also got the crowd going with an interesting cover of Dirt by the country music duo Florida Georgia Line. By the end of the set those who did not know Maya for her music before was sure to fall in love with her charm and velvety smooth vocals.
9pm rolled around and the lovely Faye Webster took the stage, eagerly greeted by the excited screams of her fans. Webster put on an incredible show. A show that which consisted of her playing her most beloved songs like Jonny. Throughout the set Faye managed to keep the crowd engaged not just with her musical talents but with her wit as well. Webster spent her time chatting with those in the pit about her favorite restaurants in Nashville along with cracking “Joe Mama” jokes with her fans. The indie star played a mix of newer and older music, a setlist that was sure to appease everyone and it did exactly that. Ending her set on the loved track Kingston. The sold out Brooklyn Bowl show came to a very bittersweet end in which Webster brought out her friend and opening act Maya to thank her once again for joining her on tour. After this tour Faye is taking a bit of a break before jumping back into the swing of things during the Autumn round of Festival season. She will be hitting up Thing Fest as well as Austin City Limits Festival so if you have the chance to see her at one of these events, do not miss it.
