The Home Team releases deluxe edition of ‘The Crucible of Life’

Date:

Seattle-based heavy pop pioneers The Home Team have unveiled the deluxe edition of their stellar third album The Crucible of Life on June 13 via Thriller Records. This expanded version of the record serves as a refreshing addition to the band’s discography and evolving sound.

The Crucible of Life (Deluxe Edition) is a captivating re-entry into the original album’s sonic atmosphere that features three bonus tracks and an extended edition of “All Squeezed Out” with features from Arrows In Action and Saxl Rose. The Crucible of Life is an emotionally compelling and authentic project from The Home Team, which has had immense impact since its release last year. This deluxe edition breathes life back into the original album and further expands upon its story and themes in an exciting, purposeful way.

“All Squeezed Out” acts as the expanded edition’s emotional centerpiece with its themes of toxic attraction and emotional exhaustion that are explored through the majority of The Crucible of Life. The extended version sees The Home Team revisit the track and collaborate with Arrows In Action and Saxl Rose to put a refreshing new spin on it. The band expressed,

“All Squeezed Out was only ever a short song because we didn’t exactly know where it was going or what it needed to be complete, but for how short it is, we loved what it did for the album. For the deluxe, it made a lot of sense that we extend it and bring in other musicians that we knew would elevate the song. Honestly, I don’t know if we could’ve picked a better pair of musicians for it!”

The Home Team are currently on tour supporting Dance Gavin Dance across North America. The band is scheduled to head overseas to headline in Japan and support Mayday Parade in Australia this upcoming September. They’ll also be making appearances at Vans Warped Tour’s California and Florida dates this year. Tickets and information for The Home Team’s upcoming shows can be found here
