Removing Troo Roo Presale and festival improvement efforts: Bonnaroo looks ahead to 2026

Date:

Annual music and arts festival Bonnaroo announced it will be making changes to its usual “blind” presale ahead of its upcoming 2026 run.

The Troo Roo Presale typically offered low prices to email and message subscribers before the general sale. Instead, Bonnaroo announced that ticket holders from the 2025 event will have a “special opportunity” to grab the lowest prices on tickets for next year’s festival, with more details coming soon.

The four-day festival will return to the 700-acre farm of Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 11 through 14, 2026, with camping entry beginning on Wednesday, June 10.

While the lineup for Bonnaroo 2026 has yet to be announced, the festival has teased its first “Roo Clue” to keep fans guessing who will be on the upcoming bill. The event typically covers vast genres across multiple stages, spanning rock, hip-hop, jazz, country, pop, alternative, electronic, and more.

These announcements come after the cancellation of the majority of Bonnaroo 2025, which experienced record-breaking flash flooding and emergency evacuation. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday performances were cancelled, including sets from headliners Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier.

After confirming the dates for 2026, Bonnaroo released a statement on its plan based on patron feedback, considering past issues with flooding as well as other adjustments. Key points include reducing the capacity of the event, removing campsites located in flash-flood-affected areas, and adding brand new stages.

Bonnaroo was founded in 2002 and featured performances from headliners Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, Ben Harper, and The String Cheese Incident.
