St Lundi is back again with a brand new song “Following My Heart,” after releasing his debut single during the COVID-19 pandemic and releasing his debut EP Heavy Words. His voice is reminiscent of Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.
St Lundi’s newest song is an existential track that feels very specific to a time that’s newly existing when you are searching for something far away. It’s about chasing big dreams when they seem out of grasp.
He sings, “I never seen a sky like this before / So if the world is waiting for me / then I go and see it all.” In a search to find some clarity, St Lundi is unapologetically himself in “Following My Heart” as he chases happiness and dreams.
The song is upbeat, embodying the pop and alternative genres, and the production is bright. His debut album The Island is out Sept. 20, 2024, which he began writing four years ago. “Following My Heart” marks an existential anthem that speaks to the pursuit of dreams and happiness, proving to listeners that the greatest adventure is simply following one’s heart.
