Alternative-indie duo Eleven Point Two asks for “Space” in new track

Date:

Eleven Point Two - "Space"

Eight years ago, alternative/indie-pop duo Eleven Point Two emerged in Los Angeles, Cali., after moving across the country from Grand Haven, Mich. The band consists of Taylor and Jon Siegel, two brothers who abandoned their academic pursuits to embrace their passion for music.

The duo released their debut album, Painting in the Dark, in November 2019, and returned with their newest single, “Space.” They just released their long-awaited sophomore album Escape Velocity on Feb. 1. Escape Velocity pushes the boundaries of their previous releases and puts themselves on the map, where they garnered over 2 million streams on streaming platforms.

The chorus echoes a universal sentiment, declaring “I could use some space, ’cause you know, I know I’m so low.”

“I could use some space
cause you know
I know I’m so low”

“‘Space’” explores the need to break free and find solace in the midst of life’s chaos,” Taylor Siegel said.

Eleven Point Two not only finds its unique voice in this indie-alternative track that infuses rock elements with its dynamic guitar riffs. ”Stage” solidifies their place as an indie-pop group, letting us into their musical landscape.
