Bianca James attempts to move on with “Till I Remember”

Date:

A lot can happen over the summer. We could meet new people, travel to new places, take on new relationships… It can be the perfect time to live your best life, which is what Bianca James was up to when we last heard from her. The soul pop artist was busy doing her thing in “Monaco,” taking in all that the Mediterranean destination has to offer. It was a cool and confident release, but as we all know, the good times must come to an end at some point. Bianca tackles the complexity of this moment on her follow-up single, “Till I Remember,” trading in a full heart for one that is a little more broken.

With “Till I Remember,” Bianca gives us a tender piano ballad that focuses on the pain of moving on. The stripped-back feel showcases her warm timbre, making the single a beautiful yet haunting listen. Delicately, she sings, “Inside, I tell myself / Maybe this ends someday / We’ll be back together, baby / I’ll be safe in your embrace / Till I remember to forget you,” aware that she needs to pick up the pieces of her broken heart for good. You can check it out in the video below, its warm hues perfectly matching Bianca’s tone.

About “Till I Remember,” Bianca reveals,

“The song came to me in a moment of aching heartbreak. It’s about the distance between your head saying, ‘This isn’t working,’ and your heart catching up and being able to let go.”

“Till I Remember” is another single that will be featured on Bianca’s upcoming debut album, which is due out August 4. You can pre-save the album here.

For now, you can listen to “Till I Remember” and “Monaco” on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
