Pell announces new album with single “Flight”

Date:

New Orleans artist Pell has been a consistently entertaining presence since the release of his debut mixtape Sleeping While Dreaming in 2014. Today, he’s announced that mixtape’s sequel with the release of his new single “Flight”, which has a killer guest verse from Dave B.

“Flight” is an intensely upbeat track that retains Pell’s bounciness and marvelous technical ability that launched him onto the scene seven years ago. It brings to mind recent projects from Anderson .Paak and Goldlink, and it definitely makes me excited for Sleeping Without Dreaming II. Regarding the track, Pell shared the following:

“Flight symbolizes a record about wanderlust. Sometimes I get in a loop of being in the studio so much that I forget about all the places my music has taken me. I’m having the most fun I can with my music right now so this is an invitation to anyone following my journey to come take this trip with me.”

Check out the video for the track below, and you can pre-save Sleeping Without Dreaming II here.
