The genre-blending superstar took full advantage of the global stage, treating hundreds of worldwide viewers to a mix of unreleased music and chart-toppers.
Malone opened the 3-song set in a double denim outfit, starting with his unreleased track “Chrome Heartbreaker.” The surprise performance offered fans a sneak peek into his next musical direction, blending his signature hooks with high-energy production built for a global audience.
He followed “Chrome Heartbreaker” with his 2018 hit “Wow,” keeping the crowd on their feet for the surprise appearance of long-time collaborator, Swae Lee. The pair also took the opportunity to perform their worldwide hit “Sunflower” from Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Post Malone’s performance was part of a stacked closing lineup celebrating the conclusion of the 39-day tournament. The pre-match show also featured streamer IShowSpeed and his song “Champions,” a speech by actor Tom Cruise, and a halftime show headlined by BTS, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and Madonna.
