“Cowboy Songs” is dreamy, self-reflective, and the newest single to come from Lorg. The fantastical singer-songwriter co-produced the single with Adam McDaniel, and featured other artists like bassist Dave Hartley and Pedazo De Carne Con Ojo’s Steven Perez with the shaker on the instrumental. The artist’s third single, “Cowboy Songs” is the opener for their upcoming project I Fell For Fantasy, and sets up a dreamy, musical landscape to look forward to.
Lorg is “lost in the clouds,” lamenting past mistakes and good times that are long gone. You can picture them leaning back and staring up at the sky, a guitar in hand as they sing about their woes. The lyrics are vague yet vulnerable, and they invite listeners to relate with their own troubles, past and present. By the song’s closing, Lorg shares a sentiment echoed by many: “[I can’t] stand to lose the one I love.”
Check out “Cowboy Songs” now, and be on the lookout for Lorg’s EP I Fell For Fantasy, out August 19.
