My Chemical Romance’s expanded edition of their 3x platinum sophomore record Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge has debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 Chart. The reissue features newly mixed versions of each track alongside Live for BBC’s Radio 1 versions of tracks like “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” and “Helena” and is now available here.
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (Deluxe) also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums, Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, and Catalog Albums charts. Additionally, the deluxe album charted at #2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales and Indie Store Album Sales charts. The band also achieved chart-topping positions overseas with the expanded edition, landing at #9 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart Top 100. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge originally peaked at #28 on the Billboard 200 Chart after its release in 2004.
My Chemical Romance is currently gearing up for their 2025 North American stadium tour, “Long Live” The Black Parade, which kicks off next month in Seattle, WA at T-Mobile Park on July 11th. The almost completely sold-out tour is scheduled to hit massive stadiums across the continent, including a sold-out MetLife Stadium in the band’s home state of New Jersey and two nights at Los Angeles’ Dodgers Stadium.
