Matt Hansen drops “VISION” ahead of ‘Orchid’

Date:

Independent artist Matt Hansen is back with his newest single “VISION,” the final single ahead of his highly-anticipated debut album Orchid, out May 15.

“VISION” captures the deeply personal spirit of Orchid, channeling uncertainty into something hopeful, reminding listeners that they can always find their way again.

Orchid is an exceptionally honest and vulnerable body of work that reiterates Matt’s sharpened lyrical ability, exploring the trials and tribulations that come with a deeply complicated relationship. The album spans 18 unforgettable tracks during which Hansen creates a sense of connection and community through his songwriting, encouraging men to express their emotions and proving that being vulnerable isn’t a weakness.

Matt puts the meaning of the album and it’s title in his own words, sharing:

“‘Orchid’ is an album about loving too deeply, losing yourself, finding the courage to leave and learning that healing can make space for something healthier to grow. I think of that fragile kind of love like an orchid. We pour everything into it, believing devotion can keep it alive, until we realize the conditions were never meant for it to bloom.”
