Jonah Kagen Releases Acoustic Ballad, “hill that i’ll die on”

Date:

On September 30, 2022, American singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen released his newest single, “hill that i’ll die on.” After signing with Arista Records, the Georgia native has been pushing out incredible records such as “Barcelona,” Turbulence,” and “Broken.” Kagen’s latest track marks a new direction for his overall sound while still incorporating his special finger-style technique and carefully-crafted lyrics.

“hill that i’ll die on” is a charming love ballad about always supporting the ones you love. The track begins with a soft-sounding guitar riff and Kagen’s smooth vocals. Transitioning into the powerful chorus, Kagen sings “Even at your worst/You’re the hill that I’ll die on/So just leave a light on/For me.”

“hill that i’ll die on” is a moving track that demonstrates all of the artist’s remarkable talents. Speaking on the song, Kagen added: “‘hill that i’ll die on’ is such a special song to me. It speaks to the sentiment of knowing that you’ll love someone and be there for them even at their lowest point, and that there’s nothing in the world that would ever make you question that.”
