Recent News: Will release her debut full-length album Observing Chaos on September 18.

At just 22 years old, pop-rock singer-songwriter GAYLE is already a multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated star who has toured alongside Cyndi Lauper, Taylor Swift, P!NK, and My Chemical Romance, holds over two billion streams across all platforms, and even had a song featured on the Barbie (2023) soundtrack. Yet, the famed “abcdefu” singer is making it clear she’s only just getting started.

With the release of her new single “junebug!” back in June, the singer announced she would be releasing her debut full-length album, Observing Chaos, later this year. When she dropped the record’s sophomore single, “loving you is,” on July 24, GAYLE announced that the album would arrive on September 19. Observing Chaos captures the excitement, chaos, and rollercoaster of emotions that followed the virality of the now double-platinum “abcdefu.” After the song’s aftermath, GAYLE took a much-needed hiatus to self-reflect, and it is this vulnerability and emotional journey that she captures on her upcoming debut LP.

At just 17 years old, GAYLE faced a major breakthrough upon releasing “abcdefu” in 2021, with the break-up anthem earning her a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year and topping charts across the globe. In 2022, the singer released her debut EP, A Study of the Human Experience Volume One, on Atlantic Records and Arthouse Entertainment. She released her two subsequent EPs, A Study of the Human Experience Volume Two and A Study of the Human Experience Volume Two and a Half, that year.

After making a name for herself with a viral single and several extended plays, GAYLE then spent the following years touring with the likes of Taylor Swift and P!NK while collaborating with Kelly Clarkson, Em Beihold, and Royal & the Serpent. However, after facing immense global success, GAYLE took some time to step away from the spotlight, instead choosing to focus on discovering her true identity. The result is Observing Chaos, where GAYLE explores the intensity of her career beginnings as well as the excitement (and heartbreak) that is experienced by any young adult who is coming into their own.

Known for both the unapologetic honesty and charming humor that she brings to her music, Observing Chaos will no doubt be GAYLE’s most intimate and vulnerable body of work to date. She will soon bring the album on the road for her fans, which consist of her newly founded fan club officially titled “the g spot.” When she brings her album on the road, GAYLE plans on doing so by holding a directly playing the album for fans through a series of album listening parties and exclusive experiences for listeners.

Through previously released singles, it’s clear that GAYLE has turned a period of serious self-reflection into a body of work that is open, unapologetic, and heartfelt. Bringing her artistry to new musical heights, Observing Chaos is the act of admiring the wreckage and turmoil that naturally comes with your early twenties with a sense of self-love, fondness, and newfound maturity.
