Shattered Shores announces inaugural sailing with 3OH!3, New Found Glory, Cobra Starship and Jaret Reddick

Date:

New pop-punk, emo and alternative music cruise Shattered Shores sets sail for Vol. 1 September 9–13, 2027, bringing generations of artists and fans together aboard the brand new Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber. The ship will depart from Miami and have a stop at Taino Bay in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Shattered Shores has also announced the lineup for its inaugural sailing, bringing together some of the biggest names in these genres for 4 days of live performances, shared experiences and nonstop connection. The inaugural lineup stretches across generations of alternative music, from artists who helped define the scene in the 2000s and 2010s to the new generation carrying it forward today.

Leading the voyage are 3OH!3, New Found Glory, and Cobra Starship, and they’ll be joined by Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup, who will serve as the honorary captain and special guest.

Joining the headliners are Cartel, Hey Monday, The Summer Set, MOD SUN, nothing, nowhere., Stand Atlantic, Plain White T’s, Four Year Strong, Breathe Carolina, Hot Chelle Rae, Every Avenue, LØLØ, Broadside, Driveways, Charlotte Sands, Winona Fighter, Millington, As December Falls, Chandler Leighton, Diva Bleach, Like Roses, Not My Weekend, Action/Adventure, SuckerPunch!, DAVVN, Public Works and Don’t Panic.

And the lineup is not complete yet. Additional artists, collaborations, and onboard experiences are still to be announced.

Shattered Shores was created for fans who want more than a festival weekend. On board the ship, there is no backstage wall separating the audience from the artists. Throughout the cruise, guests can expect live bands, DJ sets, artist panels, hosted dinners, fan activations, and special events that bring artists and fans together beyond the stage.

The cruise grew from Whet Travel‘s Taking Back Emo events and the company’s long history of creating music-focused travel experiences. After years of seeing the response from alternative music fans, Whet Travel developed Shattered Shores as its own destination for the community. The result is a cruise built around the music people grew up with while leaving room for what comes next.

The experience will take place aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, the newest addition to Margaritaville at Sea’s fleet. The ship will feature the first artist-designed live music venue at sea, Same Boat, created in partnership with three-time GRAMMY-Award winner Zac Brown.

The Beachcomber will also feature the world’s largest 5 o’Clock Somewhere venue, along with new suites, restaurants, entertainment spaces and other experiences designed specifically for the ship.

But the ship itself is only part of the experience. When Shattered Shores reaches Taino Bay in Puerto Plata, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Dominican Republic before returning to the ship for another night of performances and events.

The cruise will also feature exclusive hosted programming connected to idobi Summer School Festival and So What? Music Festival, bringing together longtime figures from the alternative music world. The programming includes Kevin Lyman, founder of Warped Tour; Eric Tobin, artist manager and co-founder of Hopeless Records; Michael Kaminsky, founder of KMGMT; and Mike Ziemer, co-founder of So What? Music Festival.

Together, the artists, creators and fans behind Shattered Shores are building an experience centered on something that has always been at the heart of alternative music: community. These are the songs that soundtracked road trips, relationships, heartbreaks, late nights and entire chapters of people’s lives. Now, the people who grew up with those songs will have the chance to hear them together again while also discovering the artists shaping the next chapter of the scene. It’s bringing the past, present and future of alternative music onto the same ship.

Shattered Shores sails September 9–13, 2027, aboard Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, traveling from Miami to Taino Bay in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Staterooms are on sale now here.
