The masked sensations of metal, PRESIDENT, have announced the beginning of their newest chapter with the release of their single “Angel Wings.”
Only having launched their project last year with their debut EP King of Terrors, PRESIDENT has steadily integrated themselves in the industry as renowned artists with their visionary complexity and lyrical emotionality. Their intent? To cultivate the identity of the artist as just that — the “art” — rather than a simple name or label or “standard” image.
Following after the success of previous singles “In the Name of the Father,” “Fearless,” and “RAGE,” this new single “Angel Wings” is nothing less than stunning in both story and production. A mixture of alt-rock, industrially programmed beats, and push-and-pull breakdowns, it tugs at the hearts of those who can fit themselves into the spiritual redemptive narrative the band paints, feeding into the magnetic chaos of the “uncomfortable”. In a press release, PRESIDENT frontman says:
“‘Angel Wings’ reflects a search for spiritual redemption and the resolve to begin again…It marks the opening of a new chapter. At its core, the song speaks to holding close those who matter most, while remaining unmoved by detractors.”

In anticipation of the release of more singles, and a possible new EP or album, fans can witness this genius of a band as they open for Bad Omens‘ tour with Beartooth. The tour begins on February 22 in Salt Lake City, UT, with remaining tickets available here.
