Blending cinematic soundscapes with lyrics that forever carry an undeniable vulnerable intensity, Austin, Texas natives Catch Your Breath have continued to maintain their explosive artistry following their initial 2017 formation. Composed of vocalist Josh Mowery, guitarist Teddy Herra, bassist Cianan Madigan, and drummer Onell Hernandez, the band had a breakthrough year in 2022 with inaugural singles “Shame On Me” and “Dial Tone,” soon signing on with Thriller Records and releasing their debut album Shame On Me in 2023.
In the years since, Catch Your Breath have only continued to grow in the modern rock world, amassing millions of streams, taking the stages of major rock festivals (Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, Aftershock), and building a highly devoted fanbase as they’ve toured alongside the likes of Ice Nine Kills, Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Three Days Grace, and more.
Now, Catch Your Breath stand in the midst of an electrifying new era as they prepare to release their sophomore album Not Broken Enough, out August 28 on Thriller Records. Previewed by hard-hitting singles like “Control,” “Rewind,” and “[Gen]inside (feat. Kami Kehoe),” Not Broken Enough shows the quartet continuing to expand upon their signature metalcore sound. Balancing ethereal, melodic undertones with a heavy, alt-metal sound, their sound is further amplified by lyrics that explore mental health, growth, and hardship. It is this deep personal quality to the band’s music that has earned them such a passionate fanbase and launched them into mainstream metalcore stardom.
Following the release of their forthcoming album, Catch Your Breath will hit the road for a massive world tour across North America, Europe, and the U.K. Kicking off October 16, the band will make their way across the U.S. and Canada through the end of this year. Picking up the tour once again in 2027, Catch Your Breath will play through the U.K. and Europe from January to February of next year. The North American leg of the Not Broken Enough Tour will include TX2, Arankai, and Colorblind as support. The European and U.K. leg will feature Ocean Sleeper and Elijah as openers.
