Hard rock band Catch Your Breath has released their newest single, “[Gen]inside,” featuring popular 22-year-old artist, Kami Kehoe.
Catch Your Breath’s debut single, “Shame On Me,” released in 2023, gained them significant traction online, introducing them to a new world of popularity. This resulted in them touring with bands such as Falling In Reverse, Ice Nine Kills, Atreyu, Breaking Benjamin, and Daughtry. Not long after, their most popular single, “Dial Tone” broke the internet. This single alone gained over 100 million streams for the band, capturing loads of attention.
Kami Kehoe, blazing a fearless musical career path, gained over 75 million streams in 2025 alone with the release of her EP KANDY, a dark, melodic rock album with hints of metal and metaphorically rich songwriting. With her charged rock sound and unapologetic stage presence, she pushes the limitless boundaries of her musical future.
Their newest collab, “[Gen]inside,” sits inside a bubble of emotions, boiling over and finally snapping with rage. This song reflects on what it feels like to be backed into a corner by an irresponsible person, while everything around you continuously falls apart. Both Kami and Catch Your Breath vocalist Josh Mowery had this to say about the single:
“This song is for anyone who’s ever been blamed for the damage someone else caused… for anyone who was told to stay quiet, stay small, or stay on their knees just to keep the peace… I want you to remember something — you’re not the problem. Sometimes the truth is simple. The world didn’t fall apart because of you… it fell apart because someone else was holding the gun.”
Much more is to be expected from both talents. You can watch the music video for the single now.
