Indie rock artist Samia stands out due to her raw songwriting and ethereal artistry. This Friday the alternative singer-songwriter is set to release Bloodless, her third full-length studio album, via Grand Jury. Having released numerous singles ahead of the record, Bloodless will contain 13 tracks and serve as the singer’s most personal body of work to date.

After her debut single “Someone Tell The Boys” made Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” playlist in 2017, Samia quickly began to rise within the indie music scene. Over the years, Samia continued releasing singles before sharing her debut album The Baby in 2020.

The following year, she released her debut EP Scout, and in 2022 she formed the supergroup Peach Fuzz alongside Rafaella, Sara L’Abriola (whose artist name is Hank) and Victoria Zaro (whose artist name is Ryann). That same year, Samia supported Maggie Rogers on the European leg of her Feral Joy Tour. In 2023, Samia released Honey, her sophomore full-length album. That same year, she was featured on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series.

Now, Samia is in the midst of promoting her third studio album, Bloodless. After the album’s release, she will embark on her Bloodless Tour, beginning with a sold-out run of U.K. in-store dates before making her way throughout the U.S. and Canada. Renowned for her vulnerable compositions and personable lyrics, Bloodless will undoubtedly serve as a defining body of work for the singer-songwriter. Known for her inspiring compositions and poetic songwriting, Samia is an artist listeners will find difficult to let go of.
