Knox kicks off 2025 with a hit single “Pick Your Poison” and Going Going Gone tour

Date:

Knox knows no bounds. Since announcing the release of his debut album and biggest headlining shows to date, the Nashville singer-songwriter asks his fans to pick their poison in his latest single, aptly named. Claiming on TikTok that “his label asks him not to release this song as a single,” he urges his fans to prove his label wrong by listening to the song as a show of support. And his fans are no strangers to supporting the pop rock boy next door. In just a matter of a few days, the single streams over 200,000 times and lands a spot on Spotify’s Soda playlist.

Pick Your Poison” details a playful interaction with a girl at a party, someone who seems out of his league yet gives him a chance anyway. Emphasizing their differences in the first verse with details like tattoos and farm fences, the pair couldn’t be more different. Interest and intrigue find their way as she gives the guy a chance. Recognizing this as a mix of shock and luck, the lyrics go, “She says, ‘You had me at Hey,’ then she hands me a chase / Yeah, my face goes as pink as the Whitney.” The pre-chorus follows immediately after, already familiar to fans from teaser clips shared in the weeks leading up to the song’s release. Culminating in a fast-paced bridge, the girl covered in tattoos leaves the singer in awe with her number on his wrist.

Allowing his fans to be part of his lead single kick-off isn’t surprising, and for Knox, his fans are his favorites. His decision to include them in the process proves smart and adds more merit to his authenticity. Tickets to Knox’s upcoming Going Going Gone Tour 2025 are on sale now, and his debut album Going Going Gone is slated for release this April 4, 2025.
