Ghost Weather battles negativity in new song “I Can’t Escape”

Ghost Weather is the project of vocalist and producer Michael Heller, originally from Cincinnati but currently based in Boston. He is expanding his musical knowledge by studying electronic production and sound design at Berklee College of Music. His latest release, “I Can’t Escape,” focuses on feeling overwhelmed. 

“I Can’t Escape” is about drowning in your thoughts. Through deep bass and punchy percussion, Ghost Weather tries to escape the negative mindset he’s trapped in. The chorus sings, “I can’t escape / My head is filled with noise,” showing the chaos Ghost Weather is trying to save himself from. Sharing more on what he’s trying to convey through this song, Heller states:

“Sometimes it really is just static up there. I wanted to express that through this production and vocal performance.”
