Slow Coast takes you into his mind on new track

Date:

Singer-songwriter Matt Lawton, better known as Slow Coast, dropped his newest single, “My Mind”, on Aug. 2. Hailing from San Francisco, Calif., Lawton features beachy guitar hooks, swirling synths, and punchy grooves to create sun-drenched indie bangers perfect for anyone’s playlist.

Lawton’s hard work in the music industry has certainly become recognized since his beginnings as an artist. Starting at 25 monthly listeners, Lawton jumped to over 40,000 in under a year, showing how quickly his music catches on with far and wide audiences.

In his recently released track, “My Mind”, Lawton examines the paradox of taking comfort in our issues and the self-sabotage we commit in order to maintain balance. Upon the song’s release, Lawton took to Instagram with an announcement video. The video features a quick introduction and tease of the song. Check out more of “My Mind” below.
