German record producer Zedd has announced his first album in nine years titled Telos out Aug. 30.
The album follows his previous studio album True Colors (2015), which gave fans dance-pop tracks like “Beautiful Now” and “I Want You to Know” with his former girlfriend and pop icon Selena Gomez.
What does the word “telos” mean? “Telos” is an ancient Greek word that in English, translates to “end,” “goal” or “aim.”
Having dominated the electronic/dance music scene with songs like “Clarity” from his debut album of the same now (2012), Zedd — also known as Anton Zaslavski — has carved out a name for himself as fans awaited new releases from him.
Zedd called Telos “a new chapter” for him musically in August 2022.
Previously, Zedd announced the fourth edition of his Zedd in the Park experience, presented by Insomniac in Los Angeles. On Sept. 7, Zedd will return to Los Angeles State Historic Park, featuring art installations, games, food and beverage vendors and, of course, music!
