Maiden Mother Crone Pushes Their Wall of Sound through Franklin Tennessee

On Thursday September 29, 2022 Maiden Mother Crone stunned the Mockingbird Theater in Franklin, Tennessee.  This progressive rock band with a shoegaze/post-rock mix formed in Nashville, Tennessee early January 2019. After nearly four years together, Franklin welcomed them to Mockingbird Theater, where they were able to perform at this national landmark, and local treasure for the very first time.

This four piece band which consists of Nick Stacey on guitar and vocals, Dave Parker on bass, Wesley Suttle on guitar and synth, and Greg Dowling on drums performed for approximately 40 minutes, and had the audience’s undivided attention. When asked, the band mentioned some of their major musical influences were “Hum, Nothing, Deftones, Holy Fawn, O’Brother, and Alice In Chains” to name a few.
