Nessa Barrett Brings An Intimate Performance To Toronto

Date:

It’s no surprise that Nessa Barrett has fully come into her own as an artist. Over the years, she’s continuously proven her devotion to both her music and her signature angsty alt-pop sound.

Sharing with the crowd, “this entire EP is my favourite music I’ve ever made so thank you so much for experiencing it live with me tonight. I’m having so much fun!,” showed, as she delivered a set filled with both emotional highs and lows.

Moving through a setlist made up largely of new material along with a few fan favourites, Barrett’s live vocals flowed effortlessly across the room. Throughout the night, she transitioned seamlessly between softer, more intimate songs like “KEEP YOUR EYES ON ME BOY” and high-energy performances like “i wanna die.”

For the final show of her Jesus Loves a Primadonna: An Intimate Evening with Nessa Barrett tour, she closed things out on a high note. She continues to grow more confident in her artistry with each performance, leaning further into her sound and stage presence. And if this show was any indication, she’s only getting started.
