Bouncing off the momentum of their latest record, What’s Left Now?, Los Angeles punk rockers Death Lens will waste no time bringing their explosive energy back to the stage. The band has officially announced a North American headline tour, beginning August 25 at San Francisco’s esteemed Brick & Mortar and concluding in a massive hometown celebration at The Roxy on October 3 alongside The High Curbs, Chico, and Dive Time.

When reflecting on the journey to this album, frontman Bryan Torres said they faced “internal growing pains” as two members departed, but the friction fueled their fire. The band was fresh off a grueling nine-month run supporting their previous release, Cold World, when things got more complicated. “Every time we feel like we’re gonna implode, we end up expanding,” Torres said of the band’s resiliency.

Their current lineup, including the addition of guitarist Ernie Gutierrez alongside Torres, Jhon Reyes, and Tony Rangel, has reached a level of synchronicity the band hadn’t previously achieved. Their latest effort backed by Epitaph Records is a testament to their hard work, garnering critical acclaim for its “crunchy, urgent sound.” From themes like first breakups to heavy social commentary around ICE raids, the album is a blend of personal grit, escapism, and reflections on the daily struggles of the band’s families and neighbors.

Death Lens isn’t another industry plant — after all, they hail from the lower-income neighborhoods of east LA — but that’s perhaps why punk has spurred them forward into community, progress, and persistence.

Death Lens has previously toured alongside acts such as Militarie Gun, Lambrini Girls, and Bad Religion. Starting today, May 1, general sales for their headline tour will be available for all tour dates here.
