The Haunt crave toxicity on “New Addiction”

Date:

Sibling fronted band, The Haunt put out new single “New Addiction.” A hauntingly addictive addition to their ever-growing discography, “New Addiction” combines elements of pop with an alternative spin. Anastasia Grace Haunt’s vocals fall somewhere in the middle of a spectrum between pop princess Sabrina Carpenter and Halestorm front woman Lzzy Hale.

“New Addiction” tells the story of someone falling fast, holding onto a new relationship despite all of the obvious red flags. Through heavy synth and an electric electronic performance from Grace Haunt, the song is able to convey the complex toxicity within this whirlwind romance.
