Surf Trash Welcomes the Summer with “Healin the Feelin”

Date:

Australian alternative rock band, Surf Trash, release their song of the summer to kick off June. “Healin the Feelin” is a song meant to be played on the beach on a lazy summer afternoon while watching waves lick the shoreline. Both soothing and danceable, this song provides a perfect balance of fun and relaxing summer vibes.

“Healin the Feelin” tells the story of someone trying to feel better about being alone after  being with someone for so long. While the lyrics subtly hint at a breakup or falling out, the song itself is more focused on the positives. This person is happy to have time to themselves and to move on with their life. The instrumentals feed into the idea of moving on, with an upbeat and catchy rhythm that carries both the song and the narrator on to better days.
