Rising star Alexa Kate yearns for closure in “Isn’t Over”

Date:

Alexa Kate takes a new step in her musical career with her latest single “Isn’t Over,” which explores the limbo between holding on or moving on after a relationship. Her commitment to creating authentic, original stories in her music is apparent in the new track.

Kate’s light, breathy vocals complement the timid, yet upbeat production. The arrangement clearly shows her vocal range and potential in many different ways throughout. The verses showcase her ability to tell a story through her lyrics, whereas the bridge allows her space to communicate her unfiltered emotions to listeners. Her writing ability is strikingly evident, as the lyrics tell a story that will no doubt resonate with listeners all around the world.

Taking inspiration from powerful female singer-songwriters like Taylor Swift, Kate has created her own unique indie-pop sound. Born and raised in New York, she honed her craft in LA and Nashville, solidifying her passion and talent, before moving back to New York where she’s currently based.

With an engaged following on social media, most notably TikTok, Alexa Kate interacts with her audience on a daily basis. However, as much as she loves communicating with her fans frequently, she emphasizes that nothing could compare to the energy of a live audience. We hope to see the new single live in concert soon, but in the meantime, make sure to stream it here:
